Joseph R. Biden was born November 20, 1942 in Scranton, PA. 10 years later he moved to Deleware where he has lived ever since. After training as a lawyer, he became a senator at the age of 30 (fifth youngest senator in history). Biden has served on many different committees and worked on many policies. He first ran for president in 1988 and again in 2008 until he dropped out of the race. He has had some pseudo rascist remarks towards Obama which he later apologized about ("He's clean and articulate"). Obama needs him to be the aggressor and bulldog of their campaign, which Biden has no problem doing. He seems like a good guy with strong family values.
